Following on from their Impressive 8-0 win at home last sat, Coed Darcy continued the run on the away leg. Having picked up their 1st win of the season last week with a bang, pressure was on to deliver another result this week.
Having made only 1 change from the previous line up Coed Darcy were up for this game and to deliver their 2nd win and continue the decent form they have been delivering over the last few weeks. The result could have been in jeopardy following walking onto what can only be described as the worst playing pitch I've ever seen. But with an official to ref the game, the game was allowed to proceed, but with caution and understanding that any dangerous tackling could result in the game being pulled.
There was little football to be played and the game was to be won on sheer perseverance and the desire to win.
and of course Coed Darcy with very tired legs out performed their opponents on a very difficult pitch and won comfortably in the end 5-1
